Absolutely amazing! My daughter is autistic and I've tried a few different weighted things but this one she actually likes and gets me to place it on her chest at bedtime and she gives him a little cuddle. Really nicely made tooThe zip opens easily and you can remove the filling easily to wash, see pictures.

Everyday Comfort and Relaxation (Dinosaur) £39.95We have some neurodivergent children in our family and friends circle, so always on the look out for products that are calming and reassuring. We’ve tried weighted blankets before but this the first time I’ve come across a weighted plushy, and ones that are just so cute too! We ordered the 🦖 which is super cute and appeals to either gender.The plush dinosaur is nicely weighted, enough to feel the weight but not so much that it becomes difficult to play with and cuddle and lay on the chest to feel centred and safe. I don’t know the theory around weighted blankets and toys, I just know that they are soothing, particularly for children with autism I’ve found.Price wise, at £39.95 it does seem a tad on the expensive side, though a good present idea for grandparents, aunties etc, and it is well made and the zipped storage bag makes it easy to put away and keep clean if not being used. For us it’s in constant use and its place is on the bed, so no need for storage! I’m giving this four stars, it only loses a star because of the price point.

When my sloth arrived, neatly packed and smiling at me in its own carry case (perfect for storage and transportation ) the I immediately wanted to take it out and cuddle it, it looked so cute.The sloth is 45cm long with most it’s weight in the bottom half. There’s a zip at the bottom to remove the inner body shaped pouch and so you can give the outer cover a wash. The head is filled with soft foam that isn’t removable. The whole sloth weighs around 2.4kg, so it’s a heavy toy and young / small children would struggle to pick it up.For smaller children you could remove the heavy insides which would make it easier to play with.I check the toy over for obvious floor and faults and couldn’t find any. It appears well made, the zip works fine and inner pouch can be easily removed.If you can’t have a pet this would be a great substitute. It’s very soft and cuddly, with a beautiful smiley face, I just love it.

This cute sloth buddy arrives giving instant smiles as he peers out of his clear enclosure (bag). He is well made overall, but I think more attention could have been made to the finishing of his face. The head is big and softly padded with all features stitched on, so nothing can be pulled off. It’s just a shame that the face looks perfectly finished and smooth in the product images, but the one I received has a stitched line below the mouth, which ruffles the material and ruins the appearance a bit.Overall, it’s a lovely companion for a child though and is well made with a surprising weight (2.3kg). It’s heavier than you imagine. In the photos, it looks more padded like a toy, but it’s actually a very flat body. There is a small zip at the back which allows removal of the bag containing the weighted beads for washing the toy. This internal bag is stitched in the shape of the animal and also stitched into sections to keep the beads spread out.The zip is important; it allows changing this toy to suit. While a lot of children will love the weight for dragging, carrying, cuddling, and comfort… it may be too heavy for others, so it could be removed. It also allows the toy to be stuffed to give it a fuller appearance. Anything can be used, even soft unused clothing, can transform it into a fatter and more cuddly friend :)It’s a good toy which is pretty soft and fluffy and can be changed to suit the child.

This soft toy animal is a good size and is quite heavy at 2.3kg, making it suitable as a sensory or calming toy.The material is soft and easy on the skin, with there being multiple different animals to chose from.The cover can be removed and is machine washable, which I'm yet to do, but I'll update this review if there are any issues.All in all, it's a nice soft animal, but expensive at £39.99, which was the price at time of writing.

A well made and realistic looking play animal. It comes in four different forms a dinosaur, a lamb, a sloth and this one, which is a penguin. It is super soft, cuddly and very tactile. It has a large eyes and a happy face that will appeal to young children. It has small beads in the body to make it weighted. These beads are enclosed in a shaped cloth bag inside which includes the main body and the legs.These give it a fair degree of weight, about 5lb so for a very young child it would be very heavy to pick up. I would imagine it is primarily made to sit on the floor and a child would lie on it. My granddaughters first action was to try and pick it up. She is thirteen months old and for her picking it up was almost impossible. It is designed as a sensory toy, I am inclined to remove the weighted bag inside the zipped compartment and replace them with a soft kapok type filling which would make the whole thing easier to carry round.It comes in a see through plastic carry case with rope handles and it even brings a smile to all the grown ups who have seen it.An excellent value cuddly penguin.

This is very cute, I love the face on the lamb. It also comes in a handy clear storage bag with a handle.It's a nice enough weight for a child but certainly not enough for an older teen or adult.I've no idea why another reviewer has said it's microwavable, it's got glass beads inside so I wouldn't be microwaving it (!). It does however have a zip so you can remove the cover for easy cleaning.I've taken off a star as I wish the beads were evenly distributed, instead there's a tendency to flow to the end. The edges of the paws are weighted... Overall I just wish there were more beads and options for a heavier teddy.

I chose the penguin as my grandchildren are going through a phase of loving penguins. This arrives in a clear zipped carry bag so the bag is perfect for reusing and keeping the penguin in while not in use. I can see how this weighted animal can be a sensory toy. The inner pouch is weighted with beads of 5lb. They aren’t fixed inside so move around freely.My four year old granddaughter seems to have taken a liking to this penguin. She can sometimes get herself all worked up so she has started using this for her ‘time out’. She has literally got ‘Captain’ and taken herself to chill out with this..it seems to relax her.The fabric is ultra soft and I can see how anyone would just sit there feeling this toy.The outer cover is removable and machine washable.

It’s suitable for both children and adults, easy to care for, and genuinely comforting.

Absolutely love this! I was so excited to try this because firstly the penguin design is so cute (there are four choices but definitely my favourite is the penguin - but you can also go with sloth, dinosaur or lamb)It’s quite a large size but the cool and different thing about this toy is that it’s weighted. It has a noticeable weight to it so that if you sit with the penguin on your lap you will feel the pressure from it and it’s very calmingMy child is waiting diagnosis for adhd and this is such a good tool to have for calming the brain and enjoying some stillness, feeling grounded and settledThis could benefit so many people of any age. I really like it myself too! If you’re feeling stressed or anxious it’s actually very comfortingBrilliant product and good value for what you get

Machine washable.The sloth arrives in its own transparent carry bag with soft cotton rope handles and has a zip all around so you can remove the weighted sloth easily.The animal head has stitched embroidered face so nothing is removable or can be picked at.This is a flat style bodied animal with a large cuddly teddy head. The rest of the body and limbs are weighted and the weight is evenly distributed throughout.The material used for this is soft and cuddly and does not shed fibres or fluffy particles.There is a small zip at the base of the animal where you can remove the internal beaded bag used for the body so you can wash the exterior teddy, the gap of the zip is approximately 6 inches and ample room to remove the beaded bag.The internal beaded bag is the shape of the animal so you can position the limbs correctly very easily.I have no idea what the weighted beads are made of but they are secure in an internal bag, like a bean bag with arms and legs.The quality of this is good and all stitching is neatly done. Good value for money because it can be used as a calming toy and also as a decorative item in the room.

This sloth is super cute. Nice and cuddly and cosy. It has a zip so you can remove and wash the outer layer which is great if you're sleeping with it.Unfortunately my little one found it too heavy. It was a good size for him but just too weighty. I found it quite comforting myself. At £39.95 it is quite expensive for what it is. We've had weighted blankets and other soft toys before that weren't as expensive... but they also weren't as heavy and with the removable, washable layer so that is a good selling point.

It works as a comfort cushion, found it works best on the chest area, certainly does help.
